Jane Rhodes-Wolfe is an accomplished law enforcement and security leader with over 20 years’ experience in counterterrorism and financial crimes. As a recently retired member of the FBI’s senior leadership, she has been recognized as a world-class executive with uncommon depth and breadth of experience in preventing, identifying, and prosecuting crimes.

Ms. Rhodes-Wolfe holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the FBI’s prestigious Executive Development Institute. Currently, she serves as Charter Communications’ Head of Corporate Security and Group Vice President, where she oversees all physical security matters, manages relationships with law-enforcement agencies, and advises senior executives on cybersecurity matters.

Ms. Rhodes-Wolfe’s law enforcement career began in 1996 as a Special Agent in the FBI’s New York Field Office. For eight years, she investigated white collar crime, anti-trust violations, and corporate fraud. She was selected to join the Evidence Response Team, and represented the Bureau as an investigator during high-profile investigations of the USS Cole, 9/11 World Trade Center, and Pentagon terrorist attacks.

In 2004, Ms. Rhodes-Wolfe was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent of the Congressional Affairs unit at FBI Headquarters, where she worked directly with Congressional appropriation and intelligence community members to share information and consolidate support for the Bureau’s mission. During this time, she served as Acting Section Chief when called upon. Transfer to Chicago followed in 2006, where she managed 50 multi-agency investigators and spearheaded private sector outreach efforts as part of that field office’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. After four years of exemplary service as a Supervisory Special Agent, Ms. Rhodes-Wolfe was elevated to Inspection Team Leader back at FBI Headquarters, where she led teams of investigators and auditors to review and affirm findings of sensitive investigations.

When the FBI’s Philadelphia office needed management and fiscal improvements in 2011, Mrs. Rhodes Wolfe was brought in as Assistant Special Agent in Charge, where she led more than 600 Special Agents and support staff in the Bureau’s fifth largest field office. By objective measure, she reduced case backlogs by more than 75% while modernizing the office’s financial program.

Based on her success in Philadelphia, Ms. Rhodes-Wolfe was recruited to join the FBI’s senior executive ranks in 2012 as Section Chief of the Counterterrorism Division where she led more than 250 Special Agents, analysts, and data scientists to manage anti-terrorism and associated financial crimes programs. She is honored to have led this unit and its vital public safety function for more than four years until her retirement.

In October 2016 she became the Group Vice President, Head of Corporate Security, for Charter Communications, a Fortune 100 company, a leader in broadband communications and the second largest cable operator in the United States. Charter employees more than 90,000 employees, maintains an operational presence in 41 states and a number of foreign locations. As the Head of Corporate Security, Jane is responsible for the physical security of Charter employees, customers, visitors and facilities. In addition, she and her team focus on law enforcement and government liaison, executive protection, security training and components of corporate risk mitigation.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rhodes-Wolfe has never lost sight of the purpose of her dedication and hard work – protecting the public and enforcing our nation’s laws. She lives outside Baltimorean is an active volunteer with Little Sisters of the Poor and Our Daily Bread.
